Have you ever found yourself wanting to make something, but didn’t know where or how to begin? In our half day workshop, we will learn the basics and make an item of your choosing. I have all the tools, supplies, materials & skills, you bring the curiosity and willingness to try something new! I provide:

• Ideas of items to make (keychain, bracelet, wallet, small bag, journal cover, valet tray, coasters, mouse pad, desk pad, etc.)

• Design guidance

• Tools, supplies & materials

• Accommodation and instruction for 1-4 at a time in my workshop, or in your space.

I’ve been doing leatherwork consistently for four years and intermittently for about 8 years before that. I’ve made several thousand items, and learned a few skills along the way. While I don’t consider myself a master, I do consider myself passionate and ready to share this craft with others. Whether you are looking for a fun group event, or to learn how to get into this craft, I’d be delighted to spend a few hours with you to share as much as we can cover.

You’ll leave with a new connection to raw, organic materials, a few new skills and maybe a new hobby! And of course you’ll get to make something useful along the way and have it for many years to come.

Price includes time, coordination and necessary tools, supplies and materials to make a basic handmade leather good for each person. Logistics will be arranged upon purchase, and any additional costs will be communicated if anticipated once I know your plans and ideas.
